Version Field
The version field tells buyers what release the listing represents.
Use a normal version format when possible, such as 1.0.0, 2.4.1, or 2026.7.
Version metadata helps buyers understand whether a product is actively maintained, whether an update is newer than the one they already have, and how support conversations should be framed.
For products in the Lyrinox Continuity Program, version history also matters because mature and archived versions may remain available even after active development slows down.
If your product has compatibility-sensitive releases, keep version notes clear and use compatibility to explain what changed.
