Use default terms when the platform-level defaults fit. Use custom text when the tier needs a short, specific restriction. Use an uploaded terms file when the license terms are long or already maintained as a document.
Where it appears
The selected terms source is stored with the product tier and can be shown anywhere buyers need to inspect what they are buying.
Better entries
Do:
- Keep common terms in the default product license where possible.
- Use tier-specific terms only for real tier differences.
- Upload a file when the terms need formal formatting.
Avoid scattering important terms across multiple places unless each difference is necessary.
