Tier IP lock binds a license tier to the first IP address used during activation.

This is useful for server software, control panels, hosted installs, and infrastructure tools where the licensed environment should stay fixed. It is usually a poor fit for desktop software, mobile users, or products used across changing networks.

Where it appears

The setting is enforced by the Lyrinox Market licensing system for that tier. It also gives support teams a clear reason when a buyer cannot activate after moving hosts.

Do:

• Use IP locking for server-bound products.
• Explain the lock in the tier terms.
• Tell buyers how to request a reset when legitimate infrastructure changes happen.

Avoid enabling IP lock by default just because it sounds stricter. Heavy-handed licensing creates avoidable tickets.
