Product Gallery Field

Show buyers what the product actually looks like before they buy.

The product gallery is where buyers inspect the product.

Use it for screenshots, UI previews, setup screens, workflow examples, output samples, dashboards, configuration pages, or any other image that helps someone understand what they are buying.

Good gallery images answer real buyer questions:

  • What does the product look like in use?
  • What does setup involve?
  • What does the output look like?
  • What settings can be changed?
  • What does the product look like on the platforms it supports?

Avoid using the gallery as a row of generic marketing graphics. A polished image can help, but serious software buyers usually want proof more than atmosphere.

Gallery images appear on the public product page as the main showcase carousel.

They are also exported through discovery surfaces:

  • JSON-LD product image data includes the product logo first, then gallery images.
  • The public product API includes media.gallery with ordered image URLs and thumbnails.
  • OpenAPI documents describe the gallery media structure so agents can understand product screenshots programmatically.

This matters because search engines, answer engines, and software agents increasingly inspect structured product data. A complete gallery gives those systems better evidence about what your product is and who it is for.

For the compact image used in catalogue cards and checkout, use the Product logo field.
