Dependencies are things the buyer needs before your product works correctly.

List them plainly:

  • PHP 8.2 or newer.
  • WooCommerce installed and active.
  • Stripe account.
  • Redis.
  • A paid third-party API account.

Do not hide paid dependencies. Buyers should know the real operating cost before purchase.

Dependency metadata helps public product pages, JSON-LD properties, API discovery, and support triage. It also reduces bad purchases from buyers who cannot run the product in their environment.
