Separate Envato fee-basis example
Applying the cited 50% Envato author-fee rate to the entered $100.00 as a simplified example produces a $50.00 fee. This does not show a seller remainder or payout and is not directly comparable to the Lyrinox estimate.
Assumptions and exclusions
Calculation bases: the Lyrinox estimate applies the selected platform-fee percentage to the entered product price. The separate Envato example applies 50% to that same entered number only as a simplified illustration. Envato defines item price, buyer fee, and author fee differently, so the examples do not estimate equivalent seller payouts.
The Lyrinox rates shown are the current one-time tiers: Low 9%, Medium 6%, High 3%, and Top Seller 1%. The calculator defaults to the maximum 9% tier.
The 50% illustration uses Envato’s official “Introduction to Earnings” description of its author fee. Envato’s item price, buyer fee, exclusivity, and other definitions are not identical to Lyrinox’s platform fee, so this is an illustration rather than a net-payout promise.
Payment processing, taxes, refunds, disputes, chargebacks, currency conversion, withholding, and other deductions are excluded from the Lyrinox estimate and separate Envato example. This is not tax, legal, or accounting advice.
